MARINE ELECTRICIAN

Job Overview:

Seeking a skilled and experienced Marine Electrician to join our team. As a Marine Electrician you will be responsible for

installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems on board commercial marine vessels. Your expertise in electrical

work and attention to detail will ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems on marine vessels

- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints

- Install and repair transits

- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs

- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget

- Maintain accurate records of work performed

Qualifications:

-Proven experience as a Marine Electrician or similar role, (HVAC etc)

-Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components

-Familiar with motor controls, AC, DC Generators and switch gear

-Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints

-Familiarity with high voltage and low voltage systems

-Ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively

-Excellent troubleshooting skills

-Detail oriented with strong problem solving abilities

-Ability to work independently, lead or as part of team

-Strong communication skills

Pay: $60,000-$100,000 depending on experience. Competitive pay + benefits
